Your medical record
A medical record is a compilation of documents that concern you as a patient. Every time you visit a healthcare facility, information about you is recorded in your medical record.
As a patient, relative or representative, you can order copies of medical records from Sahlgrenska University Hospital. In order for your order to be processed quickly and securely, it is helpful if you can specify what it is you want copies of when you create your order.
Copies of medical records are sent by post to your registered address. It is also possible to pick up ordered copies of medical records on site by agreement with archive staff. For reasons of confidentiality, Sahlgrenska University Hospital cannot deliver copies of medical records digitally.
The copying fee for journal copies is SEK 50 + SEK 2 per page from the 10th page and up, at a maximum cost of SEK 300.
